Cruise Shore Excursions

Cruise Shore Excursions, Greenock

Upon arriving at Kip Marina in your taxi from the Greenock Terminal, you will be met at the gate to the pontoon. There is a Meeting Sign by the gate. You will then take a short walk along the pontoon and board, Obsession. Once aboard life jackets and a safety briefing will occur as we get ready to head out.

Leaving Kip Marina, we will head towards Dunoon and pass by the Gantocks, a small cluster of rocks just south of Dunoon, then up past Holy Loch to the entrance Loch Long. As we head up Loch Long, we will pass Loch Goil ( weather permitting we might be able to go up Loch Goil to see Carrick Castle), the ammunitions depot at Coulport, the Finnart Fuel depot, and Glen Mallan Pier, where aircraft carriers berth right next to the shore.

When we arrive at Arrochar, we will disembark for an hour and a half.  You can take a stroll into the village for lunch and explore the area. After reboarding Obsession, we will return to Kip Marina where your taxi will be waiting to take you back to the Port.

This trip is a great chance to see all sorts of wildlife ranging from otters, seals, porpoises, herons, birds of prey etc. We highly recommend you bring your camera. We do have binoculars available.

Complementary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are available.
